WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES
Some organizations who benefit from our work:
Canuck Place Children's HospiceCanuck Place is a story of courage and vision, and a shining example of the good that comes from individuals and organizations seeing a need in their community and working together to fill it. In this case, there was a need to provide another care option for children with life-limiting illnesses and their families – an option that would give families the added flexibility to access hospice care when hospital or home care could no longer meet their needs. This vision became reality in November 1995 when Canuck Place opened as North America's first free-standing children's hospice. To this day, it remains the model for children's hospices in North America providing hospice care free of charge to children and their entire families. Today, it is regarded as one of the leading children’s hospices in the world. www.canuckplace.com

James Gilmore Elementary SchoolAs a school community, Gilmore Elementary recognizes that all students are individuals who should be encouraged to develop at their own rate within a supportive learning environment. All children should have the opportunity to develop a sense of self-worth and feeling of pride in their own achievement. While schools traditionally have been entrusted with the intellectual development of children, we believe growth of the whole child must be fostered. Due to the generous donations of YVR Golf for Kids, James Gilmore Elementary School has been able to support many of its students in very enriching and rewarding educational activities.
